Based on survey and analysis of early water damage on highway asphalt pavement,this paper starts from damage organism from water seepage to hydrodynamic pressure of lagging water to explore the internal rules of this evolution and related new issues.

From material,construction and other aspects reasons caused early damage of asphalt concrete pavement of highway are analyzed,at the same time a series of preventive measures are proposed from pavement design,raw material,construction management and other aspects,in order to increase the quality of asphalt concrete pavement and prolong the service life of road.
