According to the morpholigic,strucural and taphonomy features of the Scenella specimens collected for the Kaili Formation(Lower—Midle Cambrian) at Taijiang of Guizhou,which is different from what Babcock and Robinson decided in 1988,it can be concluded that Scenella should belong to the Monoplacophora,and a new species,Scenella Taijiangensis sp.
