结构特点
1.枪
ａｋ-１０２式５．５６ｍｍ、ａｋ-１０４式７．６２ｍｍ和ａｋ-１０５式５．４５ｍｍ突击步枪的枪管都比ａｋ－７４式的短。这三种型号的突击步枪除口径、使用的枪弹和弹膛的大小有所不同外，其余结构基本相同。它们都配有折叠式塑料枪托、消焰器和用于安装光学瞄准镜与夜视瞄准具的连接座。
2.瞄准装置
这三种口径的突击步枪均配有缺口式表尺或光学瞄准镜，还可加装夜视瞄准具。
3.弹药
ａｋ-１０２式突击步枪使用北约５．５６ｍｍ枪弹，ａｋ-１０４式突击步枪使用ｍ１９４３式７．６２ｍｍ枪弹，ａｋ-１０５式突击步枪使用５．４５ｍｍ枪弹。
