通度寺
通度寺位于鹫栖山南部，由于法堂内供奉着菩萨的真身舍利，因而没有再安放佛像，这也是通度寺闻名的原因。通度寺名字的意思是通达佛法，济度众生。唐朝的慈藏律师持释伽如来的真身舍利而来，于善德女王末年（646年）创建了此寺。通度寺经过多次战争和入侵，至今已1300年，但据说其法灯从未灭过。寺内有35座建筑及法塔等，周围有14座庵院。大雄殿被指定为第290号国宝，殿内没有供奉佛像。此外还有19处地方宝物及794件地方文化遗产，可谓是一处博物馆。大雄殿没有供奉佛像，但其后的金刚台阶上却供奉着封存的释伽牟尼的真身舍利。
通度寺所在的鹫栖山自然景观分外美丽，从寺院的入口到一柱门有一排数百年的合抱松树，寺院内有法鼓、钟、夕照、莲池，寺后面还有瀑布、岩石等，都是景致绝佳，因而被称为通度寺八景。
