floating body
fUti浮体(floating body)飘浮于液体表面的物体。浮体一方面受到重力的作用,同时又受到周围液体对它的作用力。液体对浮体的作用力的合力称为浮力。浮力的方向是竖直向上的,大小等于被物体排开的液体的重量,作用线通过排开液体体积的形心,又称为浮心。这就是著名的阿基米德原理。当物体所受向上的浮力与向下的重力大小相等、且物体的重心与浮心在同一条垂线上时,浮体是平衡的。浮体受到外界扰动(如风浪的作用)后会发生倾斜,在外界扰动消失后,浮体回复到原来平衡状态的能力,称为平衡的稳定性。浮体在平衡时和微倾后两位置时浮力作用线的交点M称为定倾中心,当材点高于重心C点(如图a所示),重力与倾斜后的浮力构成一个使浮体恢复到原来平衡位置的转动力矩,浮体处于稳定平衡。反之(如图b所示),则上述两力将构成一个使浮体有更加倾倒趋势的转动力矩,、浮体处于不稳定平衡。a)稳定(b)不稳定浮体(张庄)
