性质:由含α-纤维素为主成分的黏胶纤维作为前驱体所制成的碳纤维。通用级直径5~7μm,强度400~600 MPa,模量25~35GPa,伸长率1.5%~2.0%,密度1.4g/cm3,灰分低,导热性差。高强级强度0.8~1.1GPa,目前最高强度和模量各为2.8和350GPa。制法是将黏胶原丝在100~400℃氮气流中热解,再于900~1200℃碳化而得,若进一步在2000~3000℃石墨化,便得石墨化纤维。用作耐烧蚀功能复合材料、活性炭纤维、面状(塑料薄膜或板间层压导电碳纤维或其纸)发热体等。
