This thesis introduces the existing problem of 6kV automatic stand-by power switching device existent problem in using and puts forward the need of using new auxiliary power rapid switching device.

Based on the current condition of auxiliary power switching devices in power plant, the dynamic switching process of auxiliary power is analyzed,and it is suggested that the real phase difference, in stead of time, should be taken as the criterion for spare power s putting into operation.

With the current communications network and the construction of 2 Mbit/s multiplexing application protection features,problems existing in the 2Mbit/s multiplexing protect are pointed out,then a method is proposed that uses 2 Mbit/s automatic signal switching device to raise 2 Mbit/s multiplexing transmission channels reliability,and including detailed technology requirements.
