与汽轮机并联的蒸汽减温减压系统。它的主要作用是﹕ 机组起﹑停时协调锅炉出口和汽轮机进口的蒸汽参数﹔ 机组起﹑停或发生事故时保护再热器﹔ 回收工质。蒸汽旁通整台汽轮机﹑直接引入凝汽器的系统称为整体旁路﹔蒸汽旁通高压缸的称为高压旁路﹔蒸汽旁通中﹑低压缸的称为中﹑低压旁路。常见的旁路系统有3种(见图 旁路系统示意图 )﹕ 只设整体旁路的称为一级旁路系统﹐其优点是系统简单﹑操作方便﹐适用于再热器不需保护的机组﹔ 设有高压和中﹑低压旁路的称为两级旁路系统﹐其优点是调节灵活﹐能有效地保护再热器﹐但系统较复杂﹔ 同时设有整体旁路﹑高压旁路和中﹑低压旁路的称为三级旁路系统。这种系统最为复杂﹐但有利于机组适应负荷变化的要求。
