超声学检查设备的元件之一。能引入非线性的输出-输入特性，对阴极射线管的灰度系数有效值实行校正的电路。在超声诊断成像中常用感光胶片等取得永久保存的图像记录。同一像素记录前后的亮度之间不是线性关系。记录后显示的亮度Xid与记录前存储器中的代表亮度Xis关系为：Xid=KXis。是1.2～1.6之间的常数，因记录材料而异。故要预先对存储器中所有像素的幅度进行校正，使硬拷贝上得到正确的灰度显示。超声诊断仪中往往把操作观察用与拍照用的显示器分开，后者是经过校正的。也有是按动拍照键时才进行校正的。
