磁共振成像术语。磁共振成像中，为确定选择层面内自旋的位置，在与层面选择梯度场垂直的方向再施加一梯度场(频率编码梯度)，形成一个从低到高的频率阶梯，即在该梯度场相垂直方向形成一系列平行的等频率线，即频率编码这一系列等频率线的自旋位置可再由相位编码梯度决定。
