In this paper the calculations of the ground-state magnetic moments of the rare-earth Pr3+ ion in Y,PrFe5O12 crystal are presented and its properties in the tempera ture range are discussed.
本文用量子理论计算了PrY2Fe5O12(Pr:YIG)晶体中Pr3+离子的基态磁矩及其温度特性,结果表明,Pr3+离子的4f2组态的晶场能级中最低两个能级相差很小,在超交换作用下,这两个能级的波函数发生较强的混合,从而导致基态磁矩。
