由许多单项组成，而以无线电通讯为主要内容的无线电竞赛项目。有些国家的通讯多项还包括投掷手榴弹、射击等内容。中国的无线电通讯多项包括开设电台、定向行军、行进中通话、抄收无线电讯号、抄收无线电通播电报、专项通报和撤收电台等 7个项目；比赛在地形复杂的野外进行。运动员背上小型电台，依靠地图和指北针，在选定的路线上进行负重急行军，途中根据裁判员发给的话稿与另一路线上的同伴进行通话。到达终点后,依次进行抄收总台发出的无线电讯号和通播电报,再与另一终点场的同伴进行专向通报，最后撤收电台。名次评定是以通讯联络和做报使用的时间少、速度快、质量好者为优胜。
