利用千斤顶和交替填塞的柱块，将在地面上就地拼装或灌筑成型的屋盖结构逐步顶升到设计标高的施工方法。这种方法无需大型起重设备，可将在地面施工完毕的整个屋盖，包括屋面防水、油漆及管线等，一次顶升就位。一般有上顶升和下顶升两种。
① 上顶升法。千斤顶倒支于屋盖结构支点下的垫块上,垫块即为以后的柱帽。开始时,柱帽支承于柱基块的两侧冀上，随着千斤顶的进油和回油，填进临时垫块和换填正式柱块，柱帽即将屋盖结构逐步升高。柱块为方形和门字形(见图)。柱块在安装时宜及时铺垫水泥砂浆及焊接帮条，并对柱块的开口加以封闭，以增强柱子的稳定性。上顶升法中千斤顶的顶升重量恒定,稳定性较好,目前采用较多。因属高空作业，顶升过程中应采取措施，防止屋盖结构偏移，并注意顶升的同步。
② 下顶升法。千斤顶始终放在柱基上,随顶随填柱块，可以减少高空作业，但顶升重量逐渐增加，尤其是在柱基处形成活动支点，稳定性差，已较少采用。
