This paper,from three aspects,suggests the works To Be Initiated into Monkhood is a multiple-dream which is composed of the propagation dream of ancient traditional culture,the dream of yearning good life in the 1930 s and the dream of returning human nature in new era.

From the feminist point of view,the image of "fox"in classical Chinese literature is the result of male chauvinist culture,embodying prejudice and oppression against women in ancient China,and demonstrating men′s contradictory attitude towards dream and dread.
