位于奥地利Karlstein 的家族公司Ernst Pollmann OHG 在维也纳附近，为美国汽车和消费品工业生产精密板金件和模具零件。 1996 年，该公司的营业额是 5 千 5 百万马克 ( 约 3 千 1 百万美元 ) ，其中 75% 来自汽车业的客户如福特、克莱斯勒和 Webasto 。为了更有效地与美国汽车业的零部件厂商竞争， Pollmann 公司采用了从 PTC 导入最先进的产品开发技术－ Pro/ENGINEER 解决方案的策略。
