Cd(N03)2·4H20    分子量308.47
    无色针形或棱形结晶体。密度2.455g/cm3。熔点59.4℃。沸点132℃。易溶于水、乙醇、丙酮、醋酸,不溶于浓硝酸。在空气中潮解,加热到70-80℃或在硫酸干燥器上失去水而生成无水物。水溶液呈弱酸性。加热温度到360℃以上分解,放出氧化氮而形成氧化镉。是强氧化剂,与有机物接触能引起燃烧和爆炸。有毒!
    应用领域  用于制造电池,催化剂,药剂及其他镉盐和镉氧化物。用作玻璃和陶瓷的着色剂。还用作测定锌和亚铁氰化物的试剂及照相乳化剂等。
