图形对象的形式表示。图形对象是指图元(primitive)和图段(segment)。图元有点、线、面、字符、符号、像元阵列等。图段是由图元组成,例如房子中的门、窗;对每个图元的几何形状要用坐标位置,字符编码及字高、方位,字符的纵横比,像元阵列及其参考位置,相关的颜色属性加以描述后实现存贮。在地理信息系统中一般指矢量数据。
