铌铁矿 columbite 铁、锰、铌的氧化物矿物。成分为(Fe,Mn)Nb2O6。含Nb2O578.88%,提取铌的主要矿物原料。常与钽铁矿(铌常被钽所置换)呈类质同象系列。正交(斜方)晶系,晶体呈板状或短柱状。集合体呈块状。褐黑至黑色,半金属光泽。具清晰的板状解理,莫氏硬度6,比重5。随钽含量增高,硬度和比重增大。产于花岗岩和花岗伟晶岩中,常与绿柱石、电气石等共生,也见于有关风化矿床和砂矿中。主要产地有挪威的阿纳罗德,德国的巴伐利亚,格陵兰,美国的黑山、斯坦迪什,巴西的米纳斯吉拉斯。中国广西栗木锡矿也是大型铌铁矿床。新疆阿尔泰有数千克重的铌铁矿晶体产出。 |
