| 桐柏县 位于中国河南省南部，南阳盆地东缘。面积1921平方千米，人口39.91万，以汉族为主。西汉置平氏县和复阳县。隋开皇十八年（598）置桐柏县 ，以境内有桐柏山得名。南宋降为镇。后几经变化，明成化十二年（1476）复置桐柏县至今。矿产资源储量大，品位高。尤以吴城盐碱矿、安棚碱矿、双河油田、破山银矿、B汞金矿、碳铬矿最有前途。牧草丰盛，为省林牧县。山区盛产983种中药材，桐柏桔梗被誉为“桐参”。农作物以稻麦为主。产水果多种，有苹果、梨、柿、板栗等。名胜古迹有淮渎庙、水帘洞等。 |
