性质:又称隔油池(oil separating tank)。专用于处理含油废水的构筑物,它采用自然上浮法分离去除含油废水中呈悬浮状态的浮油。除油池有平流式和斜板式两种类型。在乎流除油池中,废水从池的一端流入,由另一端流出,在流动的过程中,因流速降低,密度小于1.0g/cm3且粒径较大的油上浮到水面,密度大于1.0g/cm3的杂质沉于池底。在出水一侧的水面上设集油管,当水面浮油达到一定厚度时,浮油溢入管内,导流至池外。在池底部有刮泥设备,将池底部污泥刮入污泥斗,通过排泥管排出。除油池表面用盖板覆盖,以防火、防雨、防尘并保温。斜板除油池内设波纹状斜板,水流向下,油珠向上,泥渣沿峰底滑落池底,属异向流分离装置,分离的最小油珠粒径6.0μm。废水在这种除油池中的停留时间为平流除油池的1/4~l/2,相应可减少除油池的容积,占地面积也可减少2/3。
