蓄冷器（regenerator）
是一种回热式热交换器，在低温循环中，它与热交换器的功能相同，即通过热量的交换，达到积蓄冷量的目的。蓄冷器只有一个通道。冷、热流体分别交替通过，它的传热过程在时间上分为加热与冷却两个阶段。在加热阶段，热流体通过蓄冷器，使蓄冷器中填料被加热，同时流体被冷却；在冷却阶段，冷流体反向通过蓄冷器，使蓄冷器填料被冷却而流体被加热，由于它在冷却热流体的过程会产生低温的物理吸附，使流体得到纯化。它的填料可用铜丝绒、不锈钢丝绒、小铅丸、铝矾及硫化铕等。它的比表面积可达3000～6000m2/m3，热交换的效率可达99，流阻小，流体经过时的压降也小，在液化器和气体制冷机中被广泛的使用。
