      汉字楷体字书写的样本。自从汉代以后隶书向真书、行书发展,文字笔画之间,时有讹变。晋宋以后俗体增多,如亂字作乱,鼓字作皷,经字作,美字作羙,席字作廗, 析字作之类都与篆书、隶书不合。唐太宗贞观年间秘书监颜师古在秘书省刊正经籍,校定字体,辨别讹误、录成样本,以便雠校时做为准绳,当时称之为《颜氏字样》,后来博士杜延业又续修,有《群书新定字样》。字样的名称就是这样来的。武后时,颜师古的四世从孙颜元孙又作《干禄字书》一卷,辨正字体的正俗,以为书写的楷式。唐代宗大历十一年 (776),张参作《五经文字》,唐文宗开成二年(837)唐玄度又作《新加九经字样》。由此楷书写法有了一定的规范。
