Based on analysis of the combined action of the upper construction on arch,the damage features about stone slab arch bridge and the practice operation load,particular attention was paid on the research of how to format calculation model that can be more truthful.

Taking dongfeng bridge as an example,this paper introduces calculation process and construction craft of the reinforcement of stone-flakes arch bridge with bonding steel plate,and indicates applicability and usefulness of bonding steel plate method in reinforcement.
