Research and application of oscillating combustion technology;

Using new type low pollution controlled pulsate combustion technique in the industrial furnace can bring out many benefits such as reduction of NO X emission,energy saving,good temperature uniformity.

On a ccount of the difficulty to reach good temperature uniformity in a tunnel que nch furnace,this paper intro-duces the technology of pulse-firing control by high velocity burner with diffusion air.

Research production of catalytic combustion,pulsating combustion,high temperature air combustion and low NO_x combustion technology,is mainly introduced.

The test results show that with the help of the square shaped combustor a model Rijke pulsating combustion under natural draft conditions can be realized but with a greater difficulty than in the case of a circular combustor.
