Construction of slipform for gate shaft in upstream reservoir of Yixing pumped storage power station;

In the implimentation of excavating the outlet gate shaft of Hubei Bailianhe Power Station,the blasting was analyzed to obtain a curve of variation of blasting volume with depth of cartidge,and the VCR method was successfully applied to the implementation.

The application of VCR method in the excavation for gate shaft in Zhanghewan Pumped Storage Power Station is discussed,this paper provides valuable experiences and references to similar projects.
