巴斯康蒂抽水蓄能电站 Bath County Pumped Storage Power Station 位于美国弗吉尼亚州西北部,20世纪80年代是世界上装机容量最大的抽水蓄能电站。装机容量210万千瓦。厂房为半地下式,发电设计水头329米,抽水设计扬程335米,抽水最大流量 116米3/秒。上水库土石坝最大坝高140米 ,坝顶长731米。总库容4400万米3。下水库土石坝最大坝高41米,坝顶长690米,总库容3760万米 3。引水系统包括岸坡式取水口、引水平洞、竖井、压力隧洞、压力钢管和调压井等 。工程于1975年开工,1985年投产。
