本文主要在审计失败的相关背景及意义分析基础上,对审计失败的涵义及相关理论进行分析,并引入审计危机含义;回顾国内外关于审计失败的相关文献,总结分析了审计失败原因;运用描述性统计方法对深、沪两市审计失败的特征,从高危行业、高危行业、高危地区、高危期间等方面进行分析,根据分析结果对我国审计失败的显性及隐性信号从审计环境、审计主体、审计客体三方面进行总结检验,提出审计危机的信号包括第一大股东持股比例、审计师任期、会计师事务所审计任期、审计费用、高管规模/董事会规模、第一大股东是否为国有股及所在区域;审计失败的危机信号包括高管规模/董事会规模、第一大股东持股比例、审计费用;二者区别于审计师任期、会计师事务所审计任期。
