Discussion on computing effective reinforcement depth of soft soil foundation by dynamic compaction based on critical cyclic shear stress ratio;

Based on the present study results of evaluating liquefaction potential of tailings dam,a method considering the effect of amplification coefficient and reduction coefficient at different distances and different stiffness is presented to calculate the dynamic shear stress.

The consolidated undrained dynamic triaxial test of saturated Fujian standard sands is conducted under different conditions, on the basis of which the relationship between ratio of shear/normal stress and ratio of normal/shear strain on two planes (“Mobilized Plane” and “Spatial Mobilized Plane”) is studied in details respectively.
