李家侨,原名李英儒,河北清苑人。中共党员。30年代初在保定中学就读。1938年参加八路军,曾任火星报社编辑、主任,战斗部队步兵团长,晋察冀军区政治部敌工科长,平津解放后,历任医院政委,总后文化部干部,总后宣传部副部长,总政创作室专业创作员兼创作组长,八一电影制片厂顾问,《八一电影》主编。中国作家协会第四届理事,中国书协委员,文化部电影委员会委员。1954年开始发表作品。著有长篇小说《战斗在滹沱河上》、《野火春风斗古城》(已改编为电影文学剧本并拍摄发行)、《还我河山》、《魂断秦城》、《女游击队长》,小说集《李英儒短篇小说集》、《上一代人》。
