崇圣寺三塔。位于原崇圣寺正前方，呈三足鼎立。三塔建于南诏丰佑年间（公元823～859年），大塔先建，南北小塔后建。三塔中的大塔又名千寻塔，高69.13米，为16级密檐式方型砖塔。塔以白灰涂面，每级四面有龛，相对两龛供佛像，另两龛为窗洞，塔内装有木骨架，循梯可达顶层。塔顶有金属塔刹宝盖、宝顶和金鸡等，底部镶嵌着镌刻在大理石上的“永镇山川”四个大字，此为沐英后裔孙世阶所书。面北两小塔均高43米，加10级密檐式八角形砖塔，外观装饰成阁楼式，每角有柱，每级设平座第4、6级有斗棋，顶端有镏金塔刹宝顶，华丽非常。三塔是大理“文献名邦”的象征，是大理古代文化的象征，早在1961年3月，就被国务院颁布为第一批全国重点文物保护单位。
