A coding approach based on human vision and its application in an aero- space remote measuring system is introduced according to the human vision selective attention to solve this problem,each video frame is sepa- rated into two parts:ROI(Region of interest)and BG(Background),they can be coded separately in different rat.
航天遥测图像具有数据量大、像质要求较高等特点,它的实时传输要求与目前遥测系统较窄的传输带宽之间存在矛盾,提出了一种基于生理视觉特性的图像压缩编码方法,利用视觉选择性注意机理,将视频场景划分为视觉感兴趣区域和背景区域,对两部分分别以不同的比特率进行编码,实现渐进式传输;试验结果表明在保证图像视觉质量的前提下,该方案有效地提高了压缩率,有利于在窄信道条件下传输图像信息。
