泛指工业上采用溶剂萃取方法得到的剩余物料。在石油炼制过程中，抽余油一般指富含芳烃的催化重整产物（重整汽油）经萃取（抽提）芳烃（见芳烃抽提）后剩余的馏分油，其主要成分为C6～C8的烷烃及一定量的环烷烃，是良好的石油化工原料，可用于烃类裂解制乙烯。
