海事博物馆过去一点，就是皇家马来西亚海军博物馆，这里拥有海军纪念物品及电脑时代之前的军舰装备。此馆存放着 1817 年于马六甲沉船的 diana 号船只内，打捞起来的珍贵陶器。当年 diana 号是从 canton 航往马德拉斯的途中。在 1993 年的打捞行动中，发现了 diana 号内拥有大量的陶瓷器。
