| 遗传负荷 genetic load 生物群体中由于有害基因的存在而使群体适应度降低的现象 。1950年由美国遗传学家H.J.马勒提出的概念。所谓适应度是指生物能生存并把它们的基因传给后代的相对能力。 遗传负荷可随遗传与环境的变化而增减。群体的混合，群体间基因流动，突变率的改变以及对杂合体有利程度不等的环境因子的更动等都可影响遗传负荷的增加或减少。遗传负荷虽然导致群体适应度的降低，但可使群体增加多样性，原来不利于生存的基因当环境改变之后可能成为有利于生存的基因。因此可以认为遗传负荷是群体保持它的多样性所付出的代价。 |
