      用振动方法使桩振动而沉入地层的桩工机械。作业时,桩与周围土壤产生振动,使桩面的摩擦阻力减小,桩杆由于自重克服桩面及桩尖的阻力而穿破地层下沉,还可以利用共振原理,加强沉桩效果。
  
  沉桩机由振动器、夹桩器、传动装置、电动机等组成。主要工作装置是定向振动器,其激振部分是成对的水平转轴。在转轴上有若干块质量和形状相同的偏心块。每对转轴的偏心块对称布置,并由一对相同的齿轮传动,转速相同,转向相反,因此,两轴运转时所产生的扰动力在水平方向相互平衡抵消,防止沉桩机和桩的横向摆动,在垂直方向扰动力相互叠加,形成激振力促使桩身振动。转轴的转速可以调节,因而振动器的激振频率、振幅和振动力也是可调的,以适应各种不同规格的桩和不同性质的地层。振动器的变频有机械、气压、液压或电磁等多种方式。振动器下部是夹桩器,备有各种不同的规格尺寸,以便与各种不同截面的桩相连接,使沉桩机和桩连成一体。夹桩器的操纵有杠杆式、液压式、气压式等。
  
  冲击式振动沉桩机的振动器与夹桩器之间采用弹性联系,在振动器下面和夹桩器上面分别设有锤头和砧座。当振动器工作时,锤头不断冲击砧座,既能使桩杆产生振动,减小土壤对桩面的摩擦阻力,又能使桩杆受到纵向冲击力,克服地层对桩尖的正面阻力,加快沉桩速度。
  
  作业时,将沉桩机装于桩顶,使之连成一体,由起重机吊起就位。为了防止振动作用通过吊钩钢丝绳传到起重机构上,振动器上部的挂架中设有减振弹簧。振动沉桩机工作时,选用的频率和振幅随桩而异,一般情况下,低频大振幅适用于直径大的钢管桩和重量大的钢筋混凝土预制桩,且宜于砂石类地层施工。中高频、中幅适用于钢板桩。频率高则能和桩的自振频率产生共振,使沉桩速度快而噪声小,宜于城市施工。冲击式沉桩机适用于粘土地层。
  
  沉桩机的基本技术参数是偏心力矩、激振力和电动机的功率。
