According to the"Index of Nationally Protected Wild Medicinal Botany" which is signed by the experts of Tibetan medicine from all round of China,launched by the Swiss Confederation Red Cross and Tibet Red Cross in July of 2000,Taohe Forest Region boasts 20 kinds of wildly rare Tibetan medicinal botany which belongs to 13 family.
根据瑞士红十字会、西藏红十字会于2000年7月在拉萨召集全国各地的藏医药专家共同制定濒危藏药物种目录和《国家重点保护野生药材物种名录》,洮河林区珍稀野生藏药植物资源共有20种,分属13科,20属。

| 洮河 黄河上游支流。位于中国甘肃省西南部 。发源于甘、青两省交界处的西倾山东麓。东流经碌曲、卓尼等县，到岷县折向北流，经临洮县到永靖县刘家峡附近注入黄河。流域面积2.55万平方千米，长673.1千米，平均比降2.80‰。每年注入黄河的水量达54.2亿立方米 ，占黄河入海水量的11.2％。 |
