【来源】
为兰科植物竹叶兰的全草或根茎。
【植物形态】
竹叶兰 多年生直立草本,高1~1.5米。叶互生,阔线形,坚挺,长10~18厘米,宽2~3厘米,无叶柄,叶鞘抱茎。总状花序顶生,长2.5~8厘米,不分枝;苞片小,凹陷;花白色或粉红色;萼长2.5厘米或过之;花瓣卵状矩圆形,唇瓣稍长,顶端阔3裂。蒴果长椭圆形,长5厘米,直径3厘米,成熟时开裂。花期秋季。 野生于湿润的草丛中或溪涧旁。分布广东、广西、云南等地。

全年可采。鲜用或切碎晒干用。

《云南思茅中草药选》:"苦,平。"
【功用主治】
①《云南思茅中草药选》:"清热解毒,祛风湿,消炎,利尿。治风湿性腰腿庙,胃痛,尿路感染,脚气水肿,食物中毒。" ②《广西药植名录》:"止痛,散瘀,利水。治痧气,积热,浮肿,腹痛,疳积,黄疸,肺结核,精神病,风湿骨痛,刀伤出血,蛇伤。"

内服:煎汤,3~5钱。
