      城市集中供热系统中,对供热介质从热源得到的热量或用户消耗的热量所进行的计量。热计量的目的主要是确定生产或消耗的热能数量,从而监督和计算热源设备(锅炉或换热器等)的效率或作为向热用户收取用热费用的依据。热计量对加强供热的科学管理,节约能源,具有十分重要的意义。
  
  根据热力学第一定律,供热介质传输的热量,可表示为

  式中M为供热介质的质量流量;qv为供热介质的体积流量;ρ为供热介质的密度;h1h2为供热介质流出和流进被计量对象(锅炉、热用户、换热器等)的焓值;Q1-2为单位时间内,供热介质通过被计量对象所得到的(当Δh>0时)或放出的(当Δh<0时)热量。将上式积分,就可以求得在一段时间内的累计热量值(或积算热量值)。
  
  完整的热计量系统应包含供热介质的流量变换装置、温度计和指示积算热量的仪表,简称热量表或热表。从结构上,它可分为将流量变换装置和热量指示积算单元组成一体的整体型热量表和将两者分开的分离型热量表。前者主要是机械-电气式热量表,因其结构紧凑,故在家庭用的热计量中普通采用。后者主要是近十多年发展起来的电子式热量表。带有微处理器的热量表也已问世,并已用于供热系统的热计量。
