【简析】：
这首诗既写旅途风情，更感伤老年多病，却仍然只能像沙鸥在天地间飘零。“名岂文章著”是反语，也许在诗人的内心，自认为还有宏大的政治抱负未能施展。
[注释]（1）危樯：高高的桅杆。（2）著：著名。 （3）“名岂文章著，官因老病休”，这两句说：我岂止是因文章而得名！但我的官职的确是因老病而休止了。《唐诗别裁》："胸怀经济，故云名岂以文章而著；官以论事罢，而云老病应休。立言之妙如此。"
[译文]微风吹拂着江岸的细草，那立着高高桅杆的小船在夜里孤独地停泊着。星星垂在天边，平野显得宽阔；月光随波涌动，大江滚滚东流。我难道是因为文章而著名，年老病多也应该休官了。自己到处漂泊像什么呢？就像天地间的一只孤零零的沙鸥。
古诗背景：
唐代宗永泰元年（765）正月，杜甫辞去节度参谋职务，返居成都草堂。四月，严武死去，杜甫在成都失去依靠，遂携家由成都乘舟东下，经嘉州（今四川乐山）、榆州（今重庆市）至忠州（今四川忠县）。此诗约为途中所作。诗人用阔大无垠的夜景衬托深沉滞重的孤独感，使人感受到诗人生命的激情正如他笔下奔涌的江流一样澎湃难平。这是杜诗五律的名篇，历来为人称道。《四溟诗话》评此诗"句法森严，'涌'字尤奇"。《瀛奎律髓汇评》引纪昀语："通首神完气足，气象万千，可当雄浑之品。"
