Epstein?Barr virus encephalitis
系由EB病毒感染引起、以淋巴组织增生伴大量异常淋巴细胞(异淋）为特征的传染病急性期，或其前后发生于中枢神经系统的无菌性脑膜炎或脑炎。其发生率占传染性单核细胞增多症的5%～7%，多见于年长儿。经上呼吸道飞沫传染，由EB病毒直接感染所致。脑炎可单发，亦可并发脑膜炎及脊髓、脑神经或周围神经病变。临床表现与其他病毒性脑炎相似。脑脊液正常或显示蛋白及单核细胞增多，可见异淋存在及抗EB病毒抗体阳性。神经系统病变多能恢复，偶可发生后遗症，甚至呼吸肌麻痹死亡者，尚无特异疗法。
