颅缝未闭的婴儿,当急性脑积水,颅内压高而影响呼吸循环时,可采用侧脑室穿刺,将脑脊液引出后,固定穿刺针,接上引流瓶,持续引流的方法。侧脑室引流术可减低颅内压。侧脑室引流时,引流瓶应固定于高于穿刺针15cm左右的位置,一般可保留10天至2周,必须保持引流通畅。对引流病人,应密切观察病情,加强护理。一切操作必须严格执行无菌操作。对前囟已闭合者穿刺部位取眉弓上11~13cm,正中旁线1~2cm处。
