性质:是由37个氨基酸残基组成的神经多肽。分子内有一个六肽二硫键内环。有α、β二型。由于在甲状腺和脑组织中降钙素基因初级转录产物的加工差异,分别选择不同的外显子拼接而产生两种不同的mRNA,从而在甲状腺生成降钙素,在脑中生成一神经多肽、故名。二者在氨基酸序列上无同源性。CGRP主要分布于脑、感觉神经节的神经元和支配心脑血管组织的无髓神经纤维中。血管平滑肌上有大量CGRP结合位点,静脉注射CGRP可作用于脑动脉、冠状动脉和外周血管,使血管扩张,产生强烈的降压作用。其对心血管系统功能改善和降血压的作用均比心房肽强。
