碘是人体必需的微量元素,缺碘会引起人单纯甲状腺粘液性水肿、粗脖子病、呆子病等。高碘鸡蛋中含碘量(300—1000微克/个)比普通鸡蛋(6—30微克/个)高10—50倍。高碘蛋提高了碘的生物学效价,不仅能预防缺碘病的发生,还可提高人体脂蛋白脂肪酶的活性,降低血液中胆固醇与甘油三酯的含量,防止动脉硬化、高血压、高血脂、冠心病、支气管哮喘,缺碘性甲状腺肿大、甲亢等,对糖尿病等亦有一定疗效。1.海藻粉法 在饲料中加入4%—5%的海藻粉,代替等量的玉米喂产蛋鸡,连续喂7天后,所产下的蛋就是高碘蛋。用这种方法不仅能使鸡产出高碘蛋,而且还能提高产蛋率和节省饲料。2.碘化钾法 在每公斤饲料中加入10克碘、20克碘化钾。搅拌均匀后喂给产蛋鸡即可产出高碘蛋。3.碘酸钙法 在每公斤饲料中加入30克碘酸钙,搅拌均匀后,饲喂产蛋鸡,即可产出高碘蛋。4.添加碘化物法 在每公斤饲料中加入40克碘化物,搅拌均匀后,饲喂产蛋鸡,即可产出高碘蛋。
