【功用主治】
治肠梗阻，汤火灼伤，湿疹。 《本经逢原》："治痈疽及痔漏中生虫，以香油涂之。"
【选方】
①治风疮不愈：陈菜子油同穿山甲末，熬成膏涂之。(《摄生众妙方》) ②治汤火伤灼：菜子油调蚯蚓屎搽之。(《简便单方》) ③治无名肿毒，风疹，皮肤瘙痒，湿疹：生菜子油，外搽，一日数次。治疗时期，忌用水洗患处。(《浙江中医》9(6)：227，1966)
【临床应用】
治疗肠梗阻 按年龄大小用菜子油1～5两(10两制)，1次或2次服下，不能口服者由胃管注入。同时配合必要的辅助疗法，如补液、输血，纠正酸中毒，抗休克，应用抗菌素等。一般服后3～4小时肠鸣增加，有的暂时腹痛加重，但随后即痛减胀消；约8小时左右解大便，症状消失。治疗35例，痊愈26例，无效9例。本药对蛔虫性及食物性肠梗阻效果较好，对扭转套叠性肠梗阻效果不佳。
