在脾实质的白髓与红髓之间有80~100μm的移行区。边缘区的网状结缔组织内,除有大量的小淋巴细胞外,还有较多的巨噬细胞和浆细胞。中央动脉在白髓内分出的许多侧支毛细血管,出白髓后进入边缘区。边缘区有血窦环绕白髓。边缘区是循环池的淋巴细胞离开血液进入脾脏实质的部位。
