超声学检查方法之一。将超声内窥镜的小型换能器置于食管内进行的M型、二维超声心动图或多普勒血流探测的方法。所获得的心脏结构回声较常规超声心动图清晰,可得到在体外常规途径难以得到的平面内观察心脏结构的高质量的超声图像。适用于手术病人心功能监测、术中血液动力学变化研究、超声心动图运动试验、房间隔缺损及手术效果评价、人工瓣膜功能的检查及左室功能检测等。
