生产方法:由8-羟基喹啉经发烟硫酸磺化;碘片及次氯酸钠碘化而得。
用途:用作抗阿米巴药。属卤化8-羟基喹啉类。这类抗阿米巴药通过抑制肠内共生菌而发挥抗阿米巴作用,对阿米巴痢疾产效,对肠道外阿米巴原虫无影响。近年来国外报道本类药物能引起亚急性脊髓视神经病,故该药在日本和美国已禁用。
