数字放射学
影像学术语。狭义的概念系指以数字化图像为显示、存贮手段的X线放射学；广义则包括以数字化图像为显示、存贮手段的各种医学诊断成像技术。在医学影像设备中，由摄像管和各种传感器、接收器，即载体媒介采集到的是时域连续的模拟信号。在数字影像设备中，时域的模拟信号经模拟数字转换器变为数字信号；经数据处理构成数字图像(即数字矩阵)；再经数字模拟转换器变为模拟信号，在图像监视器或照片上显示。70年代X线-CT的出现，奠定了数字放射学的基础，随后陆续出现的MRI、ECT、DSA、CR、US、CT等均为数字化成像技术，共同构成数字放射学。数字放射学的发展与普及，为图像存贮与传输系统(PACS)的应用提供了前提。
