是指脑或脊髓表浅血管破裂出血流入蛛网膜下腔所致的临床综合征(不包括新生儿期颅内出血及颅脑损伤)。此症在突然死亡原因中占一定比值。小儿非外伤性蛛网膜下腔出血的常见原因是先天性脑血管畸形破裂,出血性疾病(血友病,血小板减少性紫癜、婴儿维生素K缺乏)引起的颅内出血,颅内肿瘤及中枢感染亦偶致出血。
