The zuangong or special ancillary funerary garden for residents of the western palace was a unique feature of Song Dynasty mausoleums,and given the fact that none have survived the Southern Song scholar Zhou Bida\'s Si Ling Lu has remained the main basis for researching this type of mausoleum.
